Due to our growth we have now migrated away from single residential dwellings and now undertake a variety of steel frames for large residential flatted developments. Our frames can be full structures, ground level structures to form a podium deck for car parking areas and we also construct structures to support staircases particularly on timber frame construction projects where steel is minimal.
With our own Sawing / Drilling Line and CNC Plasma cutting equipment we can fabricate steel efficiently and economically and can be then dispatched to site using our own transport and erected on site using our own directly employed steel erectors and crane. This not only reducing our costs which are passed on to our clients, but ensures we are in total control throughout this process to maintain programme.
Our Projects
The following are just a small sample of the many projects – that we have successfully delivered:
Battersea Power Station, London
Client: Keltbray
Value: £600k
This was a unique opportunity to work on such a prestigious landmark development and we were required to construct temporary steelwork to support upper ground access to part of the site. Work is ongoing with further steelwork being provided to facilitate the construction of the concrete frame construction with completion expected in 2020.
Shrubhill, Edinburgh
Client: AllenBuild
Value: £2.25m
Currently under construction this major residential development in Leith, Edinburgh consists of 376 new homes.
We are not only fabricating all the metalwork requirements for this project but due to our performance on the early phases we have subsequently been awarded both steelwork and fencing packages.
Again, we have provided our client with a fully pre constructed product, this time in the form of timber screens fixed to a metal frame secured to the walkways to the flat entrances. We fabricated the frames off site and also undertook the joinery element by incorporating the hardwood timber slats to the screens before delivering and installing the fully built screens on site using our own crane.
