Ben Storrie and Mike Green formed the company in 2012 with only four staff. Ben and Mike brought over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. Strong and steady growth has ensued, and we now employ over 90 staff and through their expertise they are facilitating growth and expansion to continue.
We purchased our new premises in Edinburgh in 2014 together with additional premises in Glasgow iCON is strategically placed to undertake work throughout Scotland and have more recently expanded geographically with major undertakings throughout the UK.

In 2015 iCON Fabrications won the Highest Growth Business and Innovation award from the Mid Lothian and East Lothian Chambers of Commerce, reflecting not just our growth in terms of size and workforce, but the increased scope of our business and cutting edge work we have been carrying out.
We believe a key factor in iCON Fabrication’s success is our policy of recruiting experienced staff and developing our workforce. Each member of the senior team is able to carry out a multitude of specialist tasks across our firm’s work, from site surveying and design to manufacture and installation. This helps give Icon the flexibility and confidence to engage and deliver a wide variety of projects

Our company directors and all members of staff at iCON appreciate the importance of Health and Safety, we have ISO 9001:2008 certification and hold a variety of accreditations for our Health & Safety policies, and our procedures are constantly reviewed and improved.
iCON employ an independent health and safety consultants to ensure that we comply with current and forthcoming legislative requirements both on our sites and in our workshops.
